Hello, I’m Chelsea, an oil painter based in Salt Lake City. My work revolves around two core passions: the rich details of portraiture and the breathtaking landscapes that surround me. I’m constantly inspired by the interplay of light and shadow, and my paintings aim to capture the essence of the world—whether it's the human form or the natural environment.

Alongside my larger pieces, I also find great joy in creating tiny, intimate still life paintings. These miniature works allow me to focus on the subtle beauty in everyday objects—a moment frozen in time. Each tiny canvas tells its own story, where the smallest details take on a life of their own. These small-scale paintings have become a personal exploration of texture, color, and light, and they offer a chance to step back and appreciate the beauty of things we often overlook.

Though portraits and landscapes have been my foundation, I’m always seeking new subjects and pushing the boundaries of my work. I’m excited to expand beyond my comfort zone, experimenting with new mediums and ideas to see where this creative journey leads.
